NOWhere

Inspired by Lucy Lippard’s question of presence—“You are here. How many of us really are?”—this installation was devised using only what could be found within Guildhall’s teaching spaces. It explores our collective and individual journeys to the physical, imaginary, and emotional present.

Through adaptation, reinvention, and the negotiation between the familiar and the unknown, NOWhere blurs the boundaries of reality, history, and imagination. At its core, it is a meditation on the universality of rebuilding identity in new environments
